For those wondering about the width of Archies Jandals and the strap tightness...
We have designed Archies Jandals with a tighter strap than normal jandals, so don't stress if they feel a little snug when you first try them on! :)
The problem with regular flat jandals is that they often have a loose strap and are generally heavy (for what they are).
This is an issue because with loose straps you have to work or "claw" to keep the jandals on your feet.
This can lead to tired achy feet at the end of the day and long term overuse injuries to your tendons (inc Plantar Fasciitis).
The good news is if the straps feel a little too tight you can easily stretch the strap to suit your foot!
Follow the steps below:
- To stretch the strap, simply hold the strap between your fingers and in small little increments stretch each section of the strap where it feels too tight. You can do the same for the toe pole if this feels too tight.
- Continue to do this, trying the thong on and off, stretching the strap and toe pole until it has reached your desired level of tightness.
- It is important to note, that while the straps are very elastic, once stretched, the strap will not return to its original tightness, so please be careful not to overdo the stretching!
